MEET YOUR COACH

Hi, I’m Sina!

A sociologist and internationally certified Business Coach + Trainer, part-time HR Consultant, and polyglot entrepreneur focused on personal development for female expats within the German market

MY MISSION IS CLEAR:

Guiding and supporting international women so they can unlock their full potential, understand the German workplace, and build the career they deserve.

Let me tell you how it all started…

Languages, sports, and coaching are my three biggest passions. The first two were quite obvious from the beginning, which led me to learn four languages and become a half-marathon runner.

But the third was still a bit hidden…

Yet, I’ve actually been supporting others to achieve their career goals for longer than I thought:

Back at university, I found myself writing my family and friend’s job applications. Little did I know that was the start of my coaching journey!

However, coming from a small village in Switzerland, I knew my curiosity for other cultures would take me places beyond my hometown. And I was right…

For the past 10 years, I worked and studied in Switzerland, Colombia, and, currently, Germany, which gave the first-hand experience to understand the struggles you might be facing right now.

Being an immigrant is a rollercoaster, with lots of ups and downs.

My biggest gift was my husband, whom I met in Colombia while researching and working on a project in the conflict zone.

After living here and there, we decided to move one last time and settle down…

That’s how, in 2019, my husband’s job took us to Berlin, where we’d finally build our home.

Dealing with bureaucracy made it impossible for me to immediately start another full-time job. So, I became a freelancer with clients even outside Germany.

However, traveling back and forth for my freelancing assignments made it challenging to really find the time to settle in Berlin as I kept on moving around for work. Besides, visiting more than 50 apartments became my part-time occupation for several months.

And then, the pandemic knocked at the door:

A promising job offer got canceled on very short notice – this was extremely challenging.

Being a freelancer during lockdown wasn’t enough anymore, as one of my clients was not able to pay what I already delivered. I had to accept job offers I didn’t like.

I felt so devastated and lonely, especially as I had nobody else but my husband to rely on, that it even affected my personal well-being.

That was my rock bottom:  I knew I needed a change, and the decision was in my hands.

I decided to embrace my own power and work with a business and entrepreneurship coach, who helped me find my real passion for human development and international female empowerment and develop a new career that was aligned with my purpose.

Running and sports have been my pillars of strength helping me navigate the challenges of moving across countries working in temporary projects and as a freelancer while undergoing a massive career change.

It was in that specific dynamic intersection of sports and entrepreneurship classes that I not only discovered my passion but also formed invaluable friendships that continue to inspire me every day.

That’s how, I decided to study to become an internationally certified Business Coach, Trainer and Consultant. I was combining my drive as a runner and sports enthusiast with my passion for coaching  international women.

I developed 100% personalized Coaching & Training programs to help other women abroad take the leap of faith, start from scratch, and build the careers they deserve.

You don’t have to go through the difficulties migration involves alone.
